your cheapest and best route to go is getting STOCK OEM bulbs for it and re doing the wiring. The blue bulbs as stated before dont do shit but change the look of the light for other drivers. An HID kit would brightn the road and you can get diffrent degree bulbs to change the color the bulb emits. But as stated before HID kits in a housing that is not an HID housing sucks ass, it will cause a glare for you and others and not place the light on the right place on the road. good luck.

Yes I rewired the H4 bulbs on my 95 civic... It was visibly brighter, and made a 1.6 volt difference on the + side and about a 1.2 volt difference on the - side. Now I dont know about you but 2.8 volts will make a very big difference with the output of your lights.

you guys are missing a huge factor here he said the housing is black. that is why there is no brightness the bulb has nothing to reflect the light off of. it does not matter what bulb you have when it comes to that

The better quality black housings still have chrome reflectors... I am basing my advice on the fact that his do too... or at least black chrome. If they have a black coated reflector then you are pretty much screwed.

well ive seen people do black housing on hondas and it works ok. im going for the black front end look. and the reflector thing is chrome. im gona start with better bulbs. then check the wireing. can you give me an idea how to rewire it with relays and fuses?

Those are crap...Like the whole reflector is black... no wonder they dont work.

what do you mean the reflector? thats what black housing is. theres a little thing in the middle thats chrome.

The little center thing that is chrome is in front of the light and that reflects light from in front of the bulb to the rear and the rear or your housing is all black and that is not allowing the light to reflect off.. That little thing being chrome dosent help the situation because the largest part that reflects light is black.
