Ok so this weekend I am going to be re-spraying the truck and wanted to get everyones opinion on the best primer to use. I want color maybe even do a two tone. Might be blue and white but not sure exactly. But whats the best thing to use and what all do I also need to get with it such as epoxy and whatever. Thanks for the help in advance.

if your just doing it to put something diff on the truck for the time being..get the cheapest stuff u can...good primer is spendy as shit..

we use PCL its good priced and fills really good!

Well I wasn't looking to spend alot of cash but I don't want some cheap rattle can shit....I want it to look decent but of course its only temp....It will be painted hopefully within 6 months.

I just use the generic stuff. Works well and fills light scratches as good as any. I think its the transtar stuff. I forget the name of it it's been a while since i used it.

THE PRIMER TO GO WITH IS CALLED UPOL IT IS TINTABLE THERE IS 5 PACKETS THAT COME WITH IT SO YOU CAN TWO TONE LIKE YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THIS STUFF IS ALSO GOOD SO WHEN YOU WANT TO PAINT THE TRUCK YOU CAN ACTUALLY SAND IT AND PAINT OVER IT

Ive been using PCL for years... BUt if you goign to primer you might wanna go with a sealer to seal your truck primer with let water through if im correct....

one of the best primers i have ever used is called spectra prime you can get, you can get it tinted any color just like regular paint and can get it at car quest but i dont know where else its sold.
