Ahab is correct in this case, nitto and Toyo are made by the same manufacture so their sizing is close as it is and in this case they are within the 100ths. Toyo's is 27.8mm tall and 9.5" wide and Nitto's is 27.76mm tall and 9.49" wide according to their web sites. Now if Falken would have made the size and you were comparing the two, you would see a pretty big difference.

a 235.30.22 toyo or nitto doesnt make a difference. The size is what matters not brand. And as travis said first nitto also makes this size tire. I have never heard of a 245.25.22 pirelli.

not so sure about that.....i have two diff brand tires on my truck, granted there only 17s but they are two diff diameters.

Are you sure it says mm? B/c 25.4mm is only an inch.

It kinda looks like those front fenders are stretched to fit the 22's but correct me if im wrong. I want 20s but i dont think its happening, my 18s hit my hood.Originally posted by TiMe_1

So are you saying that 20s may not fit because of your BD or will 20s not fit a laid out yota period? Sorry i really dont understand

TiMe_1 has a hella body drop going on with his truck. so if i am correct you can lay body on 225-30-20's i am doing mine on 225-35-20's up front and attempting 255-30-22's in the back. bodied, that is.

My truck had 285/30ZR20's out back and laid flat on the rockers. The tires were over 26.5" tall and they were even with the VERY top of my bed laid out, meaning my tubs would have had to come higher than my bedsides so that the tires didn't rub while dragging. A 255/30R22 is going to be right over 28" tall.

Fuck that.....what ever happen to people that built trucks to actually be able to drive on the street. I mean, 22's are cool and all but if you can't drive it down the street what's the fuckin point. Just my .02

hah hah, I want to see someone do a reverse section, so they can fit these donks and still tuck. its easy, just partner up with some one sectioning their truck and use the part they removed. either that or its gonna be the NEW thing to have your rim stick out over the rail of your bed and hood (cutting holes in the hood for wheels to poke through.... wtf am i thinking)

this is a daily i am building and no tires through the hood. going with 20's in the front ans 22's in the back. may have 2 use a 235-30-22 in the back but if thats what it takes then so be it. i do not object to a little tread above my bedsides, as long as no rim is showing i will do it, otherwise 20's in the back it is. damn those short fenders. mabye i should make them taller, bet that would look crazy. (stupid) (lol)

oh yea, and i drive it at least 84 miles a day. thats just to and from work with no side trips. this is a daily to the fullest. my odo just hit 205000 if that says anything. i got it with 180000 around two years ago and it sat off and on for almost a year being put together. i drive the hell outta my truck. went through a set of 20's from brand new down to the belts (with rotation and alignments as necessary) in one year. cost me 600 bucks for my new tread back in april.
