88-98 C/K Raised Gas Tank Crossmembers

We just installed the prototype for our new gas tank crossmember kit:





This kit raises the front and back of the tank, and bolts right into the existing mounts' holes. The only modification necessary is to trim up the pinch weld on the back of the cab for clearance.

Let me know what you guys think- we're going into production next week, and they should be ready by mid-November!

How high does this raise the tank? does it still fit under the stock bed

I'll get a final measurement for you guys tomorrow. It is a little lower in the front than out back, but it looks like it's about 1.5" higher than stock.
I'll take a few pictures with the bed on, too, to show any mods that may be needed there.

Will you have to shorten the straps or what? How much are they going to be and are you sure they will be ready by mid-november? If there not I will have to move on but if they are ready before December I can wait.

Straps stay the same- you have to drill out the rivets on the one under the cab and replace them with bolts to attach them to the new piece, but that's it.
I just put them up on our site- retail is $169.95 and member price is $139.95.
Their due date is November 26th. Production has been moving well, so they may actually be here sooner, but that's the "drop-dead" date.

Ah shit I just remembered my wishbone is mounted on that crossmember... I don't feel like dealing w/ that shit.

i so want one but drawback is i wish i could have it before battle drag but ill wait
