...and that's why I posted this up here!!

Talked to our lead guy (after reading through the "played out terms" thread, I'm not going to call him a fabricator anymore!!), and he hadn't fit the bed yet.
So, after putting it on there, we'll be making a couple more mods before making the full production run!
We're going to drop the rear mount just a touch, so the lines will clear the bed floor, but the tank will still be higher than the frame by a good amount.
The bed floor support (that 2" box under the floor) will need to be trimmed to clear the gas tank, but otherwise the bed will bolt right on.
Thanks for making mention of that tight clearance- I'd like to think that my guy would have caught it, but we caught it that much faster thanks to you!
I'll get pics of the new design early next week- both with the bed and without!

does anyone know how much lower the plastic cover hangs below the tank.

the problem with dropping the rear mount and having the front higher is going to make the back of the tank drag the ground sooner, when i had the stock frame i raised mine 1" all the way around, didnt have to cut the cab, and the lines just barely touched the bedfloor.... you guys might want to set the truck flat on the ground and see if the rear of the tank touches the ground with the front of the tank higher.....

The one I did sits nice and level. On the shop floor its got 3/4" to an 1" of clearance under the whole tank.
