I where black shoes, black pants, black shirt, and black hat everyday. I didnt know it was the cool thing to do, I just figured if Im gonna be welding, grinding, changing tires, laying under cars, I should were somthing that wont make me look like a white trash piece of shit.

My clothes are pretty much all black for the same reason. I have some gray pants, but thats it. And I wear work pants, Carharts, not Dickies. I had some white shirts, wear them once and they are ruined.

But I do think the guys with big socks and huge Dickies shorts and a flat bill is funny. All you need is a button up shirt with only the top button connected and you're set.

But what are you wearing when you are not working on something, like out to social events? I mean its not like all the people you see wearing black dickie outfits keep them on incase they are out in public and someone needs some welding done or a tire changed. And afterwards they say "Man, I sure am glad I had my black dickie outfit on, something could need to be welded anywhere I go", lol! I think the point people are trying to make about wearing black dickie everything is that people wear it all the time because its the universal minitruckin outfit or the hardcore badass outfit.

I used to wear black socks in middle school and high school (not that long ago ok ) but than i stopped for awhile and i feel if i started again i'd be a "poser" so i just wear black low cut socks. I stopped cuz im poor and can't afford clothes

Yeah 2500 and 2600 bothers me someone asks what kinda bags i have i say slam, and theyre like oh 2500's? I'm like know slam models are RE6 and 7, i didn't say firestones.

first time i went to Indy bash about four or five years ago, i bought some tvs at walmart with a portable dvd player and was selling lowlifes out of the trunk of a rental car. We used to walk around and sell dvd's out of backpacks and people looked at us crazy..."MINITRUCK DVDS, WHY?" now theirs too many to even keep track off.

off topic but funny. and yah this thread went to shit. it was about terms not fashion. Ive been wearing dickies since high school when you could only find them at walmart and they werent double knee or cell phone pockets. so what though who cares, wear what you want. all clothes are a trend just like dickies, or your collar popped. When i go to the south i hate seeing thrashed baseball caps with cargo shorts! whats that all about. cant you buy a new hat, and why do your cargo shorts look like you got attacked by a cougar. At least my dickies are creased up and look clean, my flat bill isnt all worn and looks like a dragged it through a mud and oil pit. to each his own.

i always refer to rollin cali-style (which is a fruity term) as rollin nosebleed. i guess its not a played out term cause no one has said anything about it in 9 pages. haha.
