Ben- You can get away with a wishbone for sure, but as I said, spend the time researching the stresses involved with limiting movement on such a heavy package.

...And Ernie, none of this pertains to you. If you want technical info, you can call your good friend Bitch Ass Nate!

the setup i have scene that sceme to be reliable would possibly be b parallel 4 link with panhard brags with bags on axel. run the big slam bags and u should get plenty of lift.. the he8s. also perfect for the front..

yea i would suggest doing your bags over your axel. and many guys that tow with them get by with just a two link pan hard bar set up..

Bag over axle is probably the easiest way to ensure a long lasting, dependable system. I wouldn't personally run a double convoluted bag tho, the sleeve bags will offer a better ride when not towing.

JUSTIN- I would not suggest using a 2-link on a tow vehicle. I too have seen many people run them, but there are other issues that can arise from using them. The stability that is offered by a system that does not allow the truck to sway is nice, but there are better ways to achieve that without compromising your suspension design.

I am running a standard parallel 4 link with bag over axle. The largest i've towed is a 2 car enclosed trailer with 1 vehicle and a crap load of car/race parts. I do have double convoluted bags which are used on some Semi trucks, and i've seen them on some large dump trucks and some train cars. 7800LB. Works great with a load, but with no load, its to much and is a bit bouncy. I've got a cab & chassis rear that i'm going to be putting on it soon, and moving the 4 link bars to the inside of the frame. Just got to finish doing the disk brake conversion on it. I'll get some of the construction pics up tonight or tomorrow.http://www.lowdowncustom.com/gallery/v/phil98dually/

sweet iv looked at a lot of pics on here and most of them are slam bag or the same style bag but i have yet to find a pic of the rear setup with the sleeve style bags he is wanting a good ride with no trailer but would like a ok ride with trailer ..i tould him its hard to have the best of both worlds ..
what would be a reasonable price for a bag over axle and good fourlink , with enuff room fore the 5th wheel setup
