i was wondering if i had to tube the firewall for 22''wheels with a 265-35-22 tire,the truck will have a 2 1/2 z and it is a 86 chevy c-10 with art arms,and the firewall is already shaved, please help

No you won't have to tub the firewall even with a BD.

im not really sure u might have too on my 22's my tire size is 265/40/r22 and they rubbed bad

When i bag my buddys 85 on 22s 265-35s they where a hair away from the firewall

you dont but my hood wouldnt close when layed out it was body dropped the hinge hit the tire also it was a 73 so the front ends are different

these are only 20's by the way but i did try out 22's but never got that far before being rear ended

i would to be safe. i am 1/4 inch from the firewalllayed all the way out but im too the rockers. if u want to ride low and still be able to turn a little u will need to tub.

if you arent bodydropping it you dont have to do aything to the firewall if you do bd it you only have to deal with the seam where the firewall and floor pans meet so you can have a little turning room
