do i have to tube the firewall for 22'' wheels on 86 chevy c-10

no tubbin on mine with the 265/35/22s... and i drag it with 305/40/22s it would lay but would not roll

the fron ends on thoughs trucks have a lot of room..you could get away with it..but thoughs trucks ride low so nicely that id tub it so you could tern and drive easy wile really low..but thats just me...

If you are going to take the time to lay it out, tub the firewall. That way in the future you can upgrade. I am laying on 24's and set up for 26's. We cut the firewall and have plenty of room when layed out. You may have to shorten you control arms too.
