Thanks for all the input guys!

Not sure on what gun yet, but i'm thinking I will start with one gun and see how it does. If I am not happy with it, I will use it for primer and misc use and move on to another. It seems the majority are against the devilbiss.

Here seems to be the list of inexpensive guns so far:

Mountain
Leonardo
Mac
Blue Point

Any other thoughts on these or any others?

Just to through it out there, has anyone by chance used a Kobalt spray gun? I was checking one out at lowes and they looked pretty nice (not that that means much). I have been pretty happy with their other tools, is why I ask.

despite what most people think..your primer gun is THE most important gun your gonna use...dont skimp out on it just cuz "its just the primer gun" and dont just use ur old shitty base/clear gun for primer...all your guns should be quality..but again..primer is most important...

I had a couple Devilbiss finishline 3 before hurricane Katrina and I really liked them. I've been using Sata guns in school and they are my new gun of choice.
