ya my buddy had one on his s-10 and the thing just wouldn't fill worth a damn so he bought the rebuild kit. PITA to install but after using a press to get the piston back in it barely helped...

I have had 3 az's in my daily for allmost a year with no problems... Even with a leak that causes me to have to kick em on every 30 min or so. Guess somthings just don't work for everyone.

are you running some kind of valve so no nitrogen can blow up your check valve on your leader hose. cuz that would trash your compressor if u didnt have something blocking the nitrogen from getting to your leader hose

Ive had nothing but troubles with mine I think I have replaced every part on the darn thing now first the piston ring went to hell so I bought the rebuild kit 60.00 from them put that on ran it about a week and then the piston head snapped off so I ordered a new piston another 50.00 then about 2 weeks later I couldnt build pressure and found that the cyl wall was scored so much that It wasnt sealing up so I bought one of those 20.00 got that goin drove it for 3 days and it locked up the front bearing fell apart got a replacement motor with bearings 7.00 shipping drove it a week and the flapper on teh piston disintigrated got lucky and found the one from my first rebuild kit so now its running again but what a POS

i have 2 viair 480c's and they have never done me wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
