some things that raises cost, especially on an s10 is do you wanna keep heat and ac? are you on 20's, 22's, 24's?

what you're describing, without keeping heat or ac, i'd quote a traditional at 2500. stockfloor at 3500. if you wanna keep heat and ac on a fat tire or big rim, price does go up.

Yea 3500 on 18 w/ 40 series tire no heat or ac, but thats basically a BD on a 20. Plus in california like I stated previously the shop costs and labor are a lot higher than everyelse just like our gas prices which is F**KIN stupid but thats life.

i;d say if IF is gonna be the same price, take it to them - you KNOW they know what their doing.

quoting stock floors for 3/4 frame or just under cab?

i'm not sure what he was getting quoted, but mine were for laid in tubing into the stocker, cut the stocker down and redo the body mounts. when you run into 3/4 frames, the price can go from 3000 to 8k depending what you want.

but there are a lot of ppl out there that dont care if they have a badass show frame. a cleanly done chopped stocker with tubing inlaid does them just fine. its never seen.

also its hard to 'stock floor' a bed if you're running anything that is a decent size when it comes to wheels.

well since they make about everything that bolts on a s-10 then they should have a bolt on bodydrop...

wow and you have a toyota you never see one of those at a show. He was askin a question don't be a dick. On another note the shops in socal are getting few and far between cause everyone wants stuff done for free so the keep shuting down.

$3500 seems high but i live in kansas. I did a traditional on a friends truck on 18s keeping the ac and stock hood for $1500. The rockers on a s-10 aren't anywhere close to 3.75" That would damn near be doored.
