i think all fuel gauges are electric actually. I have seen whiskey bottles used for fuel level indicators on a lot of old rat rods. It depends on what your truck is as to which one you need. But if you buy a fuel cell you can get them with the sending unit and then just match the gauge to the sending unit. You can't tell from the face of the gauge whether it's electric or not so you can mix and match them and it's no big deal.

speedos are no prob, u can uncrimp then ends off the speedo of the donar car and re crimp it onto your factory cable if its a cable driven unit. as for if you have an electric, i know all fords went to electric, but all the senders are the same as the mechanical ones but with out a cable so u can just swap em out.

Gump that turned out amazing. Last time I was at the shop ur truck was there, and that dash was laying in the floor lol. Eric told me the plan and I must say, one of the cleanest dash/door combos i've seen. Way better than the Blazers' Falcon piece IF and when we ever work on that terd again, i'm looking forward to getting some door panels made. Hope they turn out as well as yours did. adios. 1956 Ford Fairlane dash that im going to put in my s10. Just got it all stripped down
