since ive had mine ive only driven it one time to school. now that its almost done i dont think id take it near school, being that it would probably get hit, broken into, or i'd get shot cause some brother would want to take it lol. Towson University, Md forya

FOUR hours away? each way? if you go more then 1 or 2days a week you might as well move right next to campus with some cheap ass student housing. I just finished college and loved it know in retrospect.

i drive a fullsize about 50 miles a day, other than a few door dings here and there its not too bad. try to park away from everyone if you don't want door dings.

I dont get this thread. Whats the difference between driving a long distance to college and anyone else driving every day to work? Why not just ask "who daily drives their truck?" Maybe your truck is a turd and someone elses is well built and reliable(not saying it is but I mean that just because one guy drives his truck around the world doesn't mean your truck is gonna do the same)

Bottom line is that if you build it right it should be just as reliable as any 'normal' vehicle on the road. If you plan to have some fun with it, then just carry some essentials with you (line, fittings, basic tools) and whats the worry?

The only problem I had was people opening their doors and slamming them into my doors, and it didnt help that parking was tight. One person hit the door so hard it put a major dent and scraped the paint all the way to metal.

Just try to park away from everybody else. I am not getting mine painted until after I graduate, maybe. Too many dont know how to park.

keep a tool bag duck tape zip tiess some air line an extra valve and some fittings and you wont have any issues to worry bout.... as far as being jacked air it down do an air dump and kill the power to the compressors not to many theives are air system savy

I daily drove mine through highschool and never had an issue. Like kr1s said, air it down and disconnect the compressor and I wouldn't worry too bad about it if you park away from others. Build it good and its no big deal...
