Compressor Question

shouldnt 2 identical compressors sound the same when they are on, atleast sound closely alike? my 2 viairs are brand new and they sound odd, it was the same with the old blitzluft compressors too, anyone have any ideas??

when their on u cant even hear the #2 compressor, but its working....

I had bought the viair 480c dual pack one started to make the same noise as your first one.Needless to say I returned that one because it quit pumping air shortly after.

they have been on there for about 2-3 months and they did that sience day 1, and they both still pump air

Is the first one mounted tightly? One of mine vibrated my bolts loose and it was so damn loud. Just an idea?!?

it was ratteling and then i fixed it, and they still sound weird

I have 2 viar 380's and they sound exactly the same as yours,....I was woundering the same damn thing! they both work great but sound totaly different "Lost Cause"

The ones on the Nissan I'm doing now sound like that Kris. And the ones on the Mazda are like that. You turn them on and theres a sharp click and then they run loud. The one I got on my truck sounds like the second one in the video.

im no electrical person, but maybe one is getting more power then the other?

just a thought
