A guy 6 years ago did not "start minitruckin". He had a crowd at Showfest because he did something different. The first ricer to put a bumper to bumper dragon on their vehicle had a huge crowd at their first show as well, that does not mean that their vehicle is going to be respected by everyone.

People complain constantly about "the scene" going downhill, you make it what it is. If you are not doing something to keep it positive then you are to blame. I have fun at all of the shows I go to throughout the year. If something is going on that I do not like I do not bitch about it, i think of a way to correct it.

Dan does good work, even if he does alot of bolt on work. He is progressing and is on his way to making alot of people happy with his work.

just for the sake of argument, i went and checked out the neon. it is a nice neon, but its just that, a neon. just like my truck when i built it, no matter what i did to it, is was still just an old sonoma pickup. got sick of dumping thousands into a truck that wasnt worth much.

A persons vehicle is only worth what they think it is to themselves. Granted, people build stuff all the time that gets lots of attention, gets magazine coverage, then they either sell it or rebuild it, but mostly sell it to make the money.

Build YOUR ride for YOURSELF and nobody else. If somebody doesnt like it, or thinks this or that should be changed, take it with a grain of salt. Because in the end, your the person thats washing it on your driveway, spedning countless hours cleaning it, to go drive low and enjoy what YOU want to cruise in.
