^^ That makes sense. Hopefully I can spend a couple days on it here soon. My company is shutting down a week for christmas, so provided nothing else comes up hopefully I can at least get to the point where the bags are mounted all teh way around. Valves are on back order from suicide...so no telling when they will get here.

seth built a mazda doing it the same way, except he used 2x3 tubing.. to strengthen it, you should weld a piece of flat stock to the frame, then weld the tubing to that to spread the stress out.. doing it that way, you should have no problems.

Yeah I plated the frame with a larger piece of .375 plate which is absolutely overkill but what I had, and plug welded it in the center. It spreads the load out and keeps the frame from tearing.
