Even if you do this you still have to register it as a new vehicle tho... so your screwed even more if you go that route

yeah i guess it would be hard to keep the motor swap on the hush if it sticks through the hood. passing smog shouldnt be that hard just find a smog guy and he will take care of it but driving it around town might be the harder part.

Good luck finding a smog shop. I've had no luck. I had a smog guy that got nailed for smogging a car that wouldn't pass that had 4 hidden cameras in it. California law says that the vehicle is titled off the frame, so look into a frame swop with a pre 74 vehicle. That's what I'm doing. It's going to be a lot of work, but putting my car back to stock every 2 years is a real pain in the ass.

damn i thought inspections were bad. what the hell do they do to "smog" your vehicle?

to smog a vehicle your engine cannot shake. pretty much no aftermarket equipment under the hood(turbos, some ignition, stuff like that) check engine light cannot be on. proper vaccum on your gas cap, Stuuuuuuupid shit. a fellow club members truck passes smog emissions test but doesnt pass the visual because the engine shakes too much. tried new mounts new everything but it still shakes too much. so they wont pass it.

I used to live in CA. That shit SUUUUUCKS! But in VA there's State Inspection. It's SUPPOSED to not pass with shaved handles, bags, tint and some other stupid crap.

There's some law here I got busted for saying NO suspension modification AT ALL! So what I was wonderin is how all these "Off-Road" shops get business licenses to LIFT trucks, aka ALTER SUSPENSION. I guess thats revenue for the State Police huh?! Punk bitches...
