the flute design makes it almost impossible, but for the price, and how much use you get out of them, it doesnt matter!!

and yea getting the angles is hard when tryin to resharpen them... the guy that owns a big machine shop up the road can sharpen a cheap bit to cut better than it came!!

Ed, i'm sure that they would work fine for you as long as you can sharpen a drill bit on your grinder. Drill bits last as long as there is flute on the blank. I use drill bits ranging from numbered sizes all the way up to 2" in diameter on a regular basis. Typically if its over 1" I helix it out or hole bore it to size if it needs a good finish. I sharpen all my drill bits, at work and home, on a bench grinder.

ive bought alot from enco but not enco brand stuff thanks for all the info ..btw i can sharpen bits on a bench grinder i was taught that in machine shop
