Where at in California do you live? I saw this thread when you first posted, but didn't really think anything of it. I've seen old forestry trucks that were crew cab, but they are rare. Yesterday I was driving down the freeway and saw one for sale. It was crew cab with a long bed. It also had a spare standard cab sitting in the bed. I could only see the passenger side, so I don't know if it was a three or four door. The rear door I could see had a slanted window, so it was probably built using two cabs. Let me know if you are interested and I can get the contact info for you and maybe a couple of pics.
