north carolina mini truck scene

The scene in Salisbury is alright. Got a couple of friends with bagged and bodydropped rides.

Me- 95 civic, bagged & shaved
My brother- 83 s10, stockfloored on 18's, X- cab longbed
Dustin- mazda BD on 19's
Will- mazda BD on 19's
Adam- VW bug BD to the doors
David- mazda BD to doors, chop top, W/ a 350
Josh- 95 neon bagged on 18's, shaved up
Randy- accord, bagged & shaved
Justin- bagged mazda
Tim- 01 civic, bagged on 20's
Robbie- 94 cadi, bagged on 22's

There is a couple more people that i'm leaving out.

my question is how many people are actualy out and about in there minis. Right now i am guilty of not having my truck running the roads cause of me workin on it. I think the scene would be much stronger if people actualy drove their trucks. there a few trucks poping up around me in SC ,witch 10 mins from NC, thats driven me nuts cause i cant get mine out yet.

yea around here there are like 100 people that own a cut up vehicle, but only like 10 that drive them regularly.... most of us are guilty of driving them for about 2 days every 2 years, and rebuilding them for the rest of the time....

There is a scene in north carolina. If anyone tells you different they just don't come out much. Alot of people around here want things to come to them instead of going somewhere. Theres really just a hand full of good shows around here but all ways something to do. Theres alot of die hard minitruckers in NC. I am not saying its as big as places like Cali,Florida,Texas, or even Tenn. but its here.

im used to driving 6 hours to indy every year good 10 - 11 hours to tennessee shows and 16 hours to scrapin the coast not to mention southeast showdown lol

Ive daily driven all of my trucks. There are some nice trucks in the mooresville area but like red dog said most of the older guys dont come out.

i think we should have a little get together in Hickory or somewhere around there
