A friend of mine is comtemplating bagging his '96 caprice. I haven't had a chance to look at the suspension set up yet. Anything I should know about, and what all am I looking at having to do. He doesn't want to cut into the floor pan or trunk, so how low can he actually go?

No different than bagging anything else. Mine has 2" spindles in the front, fenders removed, everything inside removed or relocated to lay on 22's. Rear is bags over the axle, nothing is cut or removed so it doesnt lay. Im a good 3" from laying with 255/35/22's. Inner fenders are 1/8" from touching the tires when aired out. Going to cut it up to lay next couple months.

Thanks man, that's the exact same size wheel and tire he is using also, that really helps.

me and a friend bagged mine in a total of about 3 days and with low pro tires i lay crossmember in front. i only got it to bag because i knew it was easy and i had a full bag set up layin around. we made all the brackets too so it was very inexpensive also.

when i had the large tires(overall same size as a 20) they fit with out losing the inner fenders in front and only rubbed when slammed and turned sharp.

I recently picked up a 91 that I'm thinking about bagging for a daily this summer. Will the stock rear link lay on 18s? or am I gonna have to cut the floor up and shit like that? I'm kind of hoping to make it a quick job since I'm sure I'll have a lot of other projects on the go.

It should lay on 20's in the rear with the stock link setup.

I know kyles was on 20s and I'm pretty sure he had to lengthen the bars and also his car was stepnotched with the floor modified.

I'm hoping I can get away without doing that if I just set mine up for 18s.

Not sure about sedans...but wagons will lay on 20s w/ a 3" c-notch.
