i started off just doing it for friends and people on ssm. but when i started doing it, it was just me and brandt. pretty soon i got to were i was booked up for a week after i came home from work so i started charging for my time. i started a website and it just went from there. i think we all improve each time we do one. we dont do renderings that much anymore. in fact, we turn alot away. we mainly do higher profile vehicles and sema rides or company projects.

Remember those days Robbie? Good times. I started my business the same way basically. Held a real job while I started GD and continued to grow it from there to the point it is now where we both dont work for anyone but ourselves and we also have a few other helpers and such. Shelly has never had a real job since we started GD. Renderings are and pretty much always have been a small part of our business and we are completley fine with that....

^^^agreed, same here...I started off doing them on the side for free while working at an architecture firm and then went full time when the timing was right. Renderings are a small part of what I do as well because to be quite honest for the amount of time it takes to make them look as good as they do...it honestly ain't worth the money...more of a pride thing/work of art.-rj

Thanks for the insight but i was trying to say is that you all started from somewhere, from a certain point and this my starting point.I want to use this as my starting point so i can then add stuff like flyers, business card, picture restoration, web design.Maybe not as a full time job but something that i can do on the side to make alittle extra money.Look, I came in here for pointers and advice so please tell me what i need to do to make them look better. Thanks

Post up the ones that you want critiqued (the ones you think are your best) and I will give you some pointers to help you out.

i just look at it as a hobby right now. i am trying to better my self. when i first started(wasnt that long ago) i was all gung hoe about making a business out it. ive come to realize that i should just do what i do and if its meant to happen then it will. IMO like i believe was mentioned above, there is a lot of competition out there and you have to set you self apart from the rest and i dont think that is gonna be easy by any means.

Well if they are uploaded to a server (ie: website, photobucket.com, etc) then just put the following:>img src = http://www.youraddresshere.jpgJust flip the end brackets to open inward.-rj
