Check Out These Trucks

We had a 4 door turbo-diesel Ranger in Argentine as well as a F-100 that was a reg cab shortbed super duty with a 4 cylinder turbo diesel in that as well. South America has alot of 4-door trucks. We drove 4 door Nissan's and Toyota's as well as new 2000 Chevy Luv. Looked just like the old Luv's of the 80's.

I tried importing a 4 door isuzu from mexico and couldn't do it at the time. The one thing I can tell you for sure is that the only way to import it would be going through and importing agency, the gov't won't accept an individuals request... it has to go through an IA..

They have them in Europe as well but they are rebadged nissans mostly.

I was going to have a mexican friend buy one in Mexico, register it there and then drive it across the border with a 30day pass and then never register it here, just re-vin it with an american ranger vin from salvage.

Yeah but wasn't there a thread a while back saying that it was super expensive to get one of these on the road in the us with emissions and other BS or was it just with swapping over cabs vs. vin numbers?

well if i could get one i would jus fully build it and trailer it and just cruise it at shows
