if you run slams then you dont need a shock. you will hit better sides with out the shocks. but it rides alot better with a shock.

you need shocks. no if ands or buts about it. i didnt on my full size because wanted to hop but it floated to much. i had slam he-7 on the front.

what kind of rear setup are you running? if its a bag on bar setup, right behind where the bag is is a good place. bag over the axle, you may have them sideways pointing toward the center of the truck like this / your front dumps are what size? suicidedoors.com sells dump controls so you can slow down or you can put a reducers on the dump valves to slow it down and learn how to just tap the switch.

I ran with out shocks on my mitsu. It was a wasn't all that bad, I wont do it again though. I'm debating putting shockwaves on my chrysler town and country

I would highly recommend running shocks, Its just an overall better ride/handling. Make sure the centerlines of the shock mounting studs are parallel to each other. As far as the mounting angle, the more verticle, the stiffer the ride. Normally I run the shocks at a maximum 30 degree angle (from true vertical at ride height). As a rule of thumb if you mount the shocks at a 26-to-27 degree angle(fully extended)they will settle to about 30.

you def. want shocks out back @ least...I had to take mine off once & it bounced all over the damn road.(bag over axle)
