ricky (whynotfab) did that to his toyota, and afterwards said he wished, for all the work and moving the tank, that he had done a 4 link. But you can probably find pics of his setup.

haha if he were violent he would probably beat you. He has a 5 link, a 2 link isnt even half enough for seth.

LOL. i dont know why i thought that. i just looked at his pic again and was like,,,,,, DUH! i know that ive seen an older toy with a 2 link on here somewhere! ive been painting my daughters room all day - maybe its the paint fumes!

I DO NOT have a 2-link. Like Russ said I run a 5-link. Will probably have a 4 link in the future though.

On an import truck you can't really use the stock leaf spring perch for a link mount if you want to lay out. It hits the ground before the frame does. Also you would have something like a 20" long link bar, which would create a shitload of pinion angle change.

Heres an example with a 22" bar. There it is level.

Quote from AirRideTalk.com (pictures too)"If you have 44 degrees of change at 15", that is nearly three degrees per inch. You will easily have four inches of movement in daily use; two inches up, two inches down. That equates to roughly 12 degrees of pinion angle change. And that is where you drive at, and that does matter. Pinion angle differences as small as 1 degree can cause vibration and premature pinion bearing and transmission failure."

2-links aren't a good idea in the stock hanger on import minis.

Russ has made this point on several occasions as I remember, in more detail.

i want to go with a long ass bar anyways seems like that would make it easyer...im just wanting to lay out on a 18" rim at the biggest...not really worried about alot of lift

well the longer the better i do know that on a buddies truck we made them 4 foot long, they went under the cab and his pinoin angle change was almost none at all
