I,d checke the grounds first b4 you change the turn sig switch make sure they aren;t corroaded, loose ,or broken

so its got power on it when theres no load but when you apply a load does it short out or does it just not work. if you have power when the switch is on then the switch probably works. turn it off and on check power in both position

its gonna be something simple and when you find it your probably shoot yourself in the foot

checked the switch it seems like it works but i still cant figure it out all wires are not cracked or weathered checked fuses again relays everyhting seems good gonna order new switch to see if that helps

Did you pull the headlight fuses to check them or did you just test them with a test light on top of the fuse?? Cause a blown head light fuse will still read hot on both sides and make you think is good when its really blown and when you plug that light in it is drawing power from the other light witch in return makes it light up very dim. Just my 2 cents.

i put in all new fuses and checked relays the only thing i can think of is the switch is bad

try and make sure the terminals are making contact...mine did the same thing...i checked everything and then i wiggled the plug and it popped on so i crimped down on each spade inside the plug and ive never had another problem...sometimes over the years those spade get spread out a little....

I have the same problem, and I think it's the turn signal switch also.Did you guys get a new signal switch from the dealer/aftermarket shop,or junkyard replacement? Thanks

you can get a brand new switch from either usautoparts.com or go to courtesyparts.com i would not use junkyard cuz you never know if the switch is good
