1997 vin tag removed

That was here in Las Vegas Renny. There was a VIN plate in his door jamb, & the VIN was stamped on the engine block & both matched eachother & the title so they made another VIN plate & put it on. Good luck with yours.

exactly! they dont walk out and look at it! the vin doesnt mean shit unless someone looks at it when you get pulled over, get tags or get emission tested here in TN. or if you take it to the shop and they have to pull the number for parts, etc.

that being said, yes you can get one engraved! your vin is on a shit load more places than your engine block and dash! my 2003 has it everywhere! but my 83 toyota only has it on the doorjamb and the dash.

i really appreciate the help guys.i think im gonns try the AAA route first,and then take it from there.im glad the vin tags are in other areas also because i have the pink slip which would show im the legal owner.
