i have a 350 in my 85 yota i had the frame poderciated and all with the 4 banger in and decided to put a 350 in instead the with from motor mount center to tranny mount center is the same as the yota if you can believe that. there maybe be a 1/2 inch or so but i was able to make brackets that bolt to the block straight to the frame. let me know if that helps and sorry for my spelling i am bad at grammer

makes me want a chevy LOL. I believe I can get this motor to work. That link shows a rear sump (like festers, i though it was dual sump seth, my bad) and the pick up tube to match.

edit: what would i measure oil with, if that plugs the dipstick hole?

the 350 is lookin better and better imo...i think im might do it instead of the 4 banger

well, i just found a rear sump that may work for me. it has a dip stick placment in the pan, so i would not have some ugly thing sticking out of the motor too.

with the 15640 pan, 15641 pick up, and the required dipstick they sell it comes out to be like 350 to set it all up. finding a radiator may be the hard part haha. I know this is going to take some cash, but it will be fun!

You can get an Aluminum radiator thats about the same size as the stock one at Summit for under $200. They are big enough to cool a V8. You might have to recess it into the core support though, and probably have to run electric fans.

If u get the yota u plannin to bring it to STC? Im tryin to have mine atleast bagged for it

not if its gettin a v8 haha. unless i get it done RIGHT before. Planning more so for pandamonium. We will see though, if I get motivated enough I will get it done asap!

seth, i saw that on summit. but will a stock size alluminum cool a v8, being stock yota size? or should i measure and get the biggest one possible? I planned on electric fans, so that's not a biggy.

Like I said, it will cool a V8. They are deeper than a Toyota. Just look at the info posted, it generally says what size engine it can handle.

yah i didnt notice you said it would cool it. missed that. thanks for the info.
