Rmoving emissions crap 22r

toyota has never been up on fuel deliver. even the carbs on my 83 suck! i had dual side drafts on my purple engine shown above! THEY SUCK! look great but damn it takes an act of god to get them dialed in!

i have a lot of the wiring to clean up & hide because i got anxious to hear it run after a year of sitting around so please excuse the mess, but here's what i finally got put back in this weekend...& yes the stock hood closes even with those huge pie pans (no "Z" or lowered motor)

I know what you mean I had to adjust mine everytime the weather changed

any advice on yanking the emissions off one of these puppies?? (specifically mine in pic # 2 i posted!)

I have a LC engineereing Sidedraft intake for that motor if anyone is interested. Chrome plated and came off of Suicidal Toy the old cover truck from a while back.

When I did the sidedrafts I took all the emissions stuff off and cut out all the wirring

one of the cleanest i have ever seen... even when he is burning up his relays (sorry gary)this belongs to truck action on here.

a little dirty. as you can see, no smog crap. all i did to remove the stuff was figure out where the hoses ran to and from the smog thing on the fender. then i just bypassed it all.
