OK guys this mite be a newbie question but i cant seem to find it, here it is. i have read a few times about useing 3/4 hubs to bring the wheels in and making the arms a little longer .
now heres the question
why use 3/4 hubs? seems like 3/4 hubs would be smaller with smaller brakes and cut into your one ton rating.
why not use single wheel one ton hubs?same rating same brakes.
or anything thats not a dually with 8 lugs is a 3/4 ton and i'm just mistaken on something i have always believe existed?

I used 1 ton single rear wheel rotors. Still beefy and got them at our local parts store. Then I ordered my control arms a inch longer this may vary on lug nut covers and how much you want the wheel to sit in. Hope this helps Jamey

Where did you order your control arms from and what did you have to give for them?

Also, were they uppers and lowers?

Here is a poopy picture of the arms i make to run 3/4 ton hubs. They are Jeebus Joint uppers with a 1" spherical bearing, and ball joint lowers. Ill assemble them, and post some nicer pics soon.

This set here is for a guy at Kicker Audio, building a dually for a sema & ces vehicle.

i Believe this Statement is Correct, but i am not 100% on that so someone else may know for sure!

Just a quick pic of my uppers assembled also. They bolt directly into the spindle, and get a TON more travel this way as well.

How well do those unbooted upper joints last when you get water and dirt and mud in them?
