i never understood why people on here talk so much shit about 2 links! u talk about pinion angle issues, but u set your pinion angle at your ride hight. so i dont see any pinion angle issues. all that really matters is it work and its simple and easy

i have a 2 link did not put it on there but from layed out to ride the pinion is just fine...but maxed out its not perfect but still drivable but who rides with the shit like a 4x4 no one...kinda like why i think anything bagged with alot of lift is fuckin gay...i thought you baged a truck to lay not lift to go 4 wheeling

Ekstensive loves 2 links... even the Orange Hummer has one in it

I'm not a fan of them myself though... just putting that out there.

alright look at my setup and if i was to use a 4 link with the travel i get i would see alot of pinion change but with my bars my piviot point 1.25" from my carrier bearing my axel pivets with the drive line in the same arch and i did a cab swap keeping the orignl standerd cab frame a four link would have raised my floor even more and put my instant center about 2 feet in front of my truck my instance center is set at 50/50 on it and there is no anti squat or anti dive and i didnt want to have to gusset the hell out of my upper bag mounts just to move the bag 2" to center it on the link bars it would completly loose the look i was going for i get 22 inches of lift and dont have to worrie about destroying my carrier bearing or shoving my drive line threw my transmition and i can change my ride hieght at any speed ive driven it 1/4" off the ground and 22 inches off the ground at 120 mph adjusting the hieght with no shakes vibrations or problems dont start talking shit if you have know idea what the fuck is going on my truck can handle like a fucking race car and not wear out my drivetrain in 2 years

I had a two link on my Ranger. It worked fine. My lil bro did a extremely cheap budget S10 build. He wanted to see just how much on the cheap he could build a mini. He built a two link and used the leaf spring eyes. Cut them off and then notched some tubing. Then if I remember right, used the factory leaf spring perch. He's always doing shit like that. Trying to think outside the box. I must admit, the truck was solid and worked fine!

I like this. With that carrier bearing placement, I bet this helps with any pinion angles!

Will someone please seriously add "X link" to the "no Rice/import hate" rule for the forums?! Damn...

Fuck, anytime someone asks about a link setup and mentions a 2 link every dude and his boy jumps his shit about it.

And what the fuck is up with that signature homeboy?! ^^^

you 2 link guys should try driving off flat pavement with them, you can get stuck on flat ground if its uneven and you have an open axle.... not to mention that horrible vibration and funky sound your drivetrain will make when your pinion angle gets way off....
