cops?????

how in the f^^k does a traffic cop get a f^^king job if they dont know the laws they are up holding? ok this is the deal im in south carolina and i build a couple trucks a year nothing major jus do it for fun, i try to know mosat all the laws pertainig to what i do ,ok now, this is the third time ive been pulled for do something un safe! 1st, being to low, not for throwing sparks but being to low! i had to get his copmmanding officer to show him its not illegal on a truck , car yes , 2nd didnt get pulled but had a cop pull up beside me an tell me its illegal to lift my truck while driving! but he hadd to stop talkin on his cell while driving to tell me this, thats illegal as f^^ck! 3rd tonight i got pulled ofr throwing spark unitentionally! in a pot hole / dip in thier highway! i was up a foot off the freakin ground then he gave me shit about my tag and tailights that are freakin legal! so my question is why do i no more about the laws they are supposed to protesct us with???????????? plua a donk ides by tonght bumping his streao at 11 pm , thats illegal as hell !! lifted car , stereo! gimme a f^^ckin break!!!!!!!!

they're cops man, gotta deal with em. just make sure you deal with em nicely to get off easy...try to understand them even though they are talking total bs, cops can do whatever they want.... cops

last night we were at a resturant my truck was parked in a legal parking spot,some old blue hair pulls up in the fire lane right outside the door of the place we were at gets out and waits in line for their food for about 45 min.meanwhile the whole time i was there,there was a cop sitting between my truck and the blue hairs suv.when we left i got pulled over W.T.F.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it jus aint rite , i was a total gentalman , not a dick as BDYDRPDDAK mentioned in the other post , i apologized and thats why he let me off with a simple ticket , so he says, im not stupid beina dick to a cop doesnt get you anywere , i jus dont understand how we get tickets for "sparking " or being "to low" when in jus about everystate that ive looked into it illlegal to modify any passenger vehicle , shit most of them cars are so unsafe its unreal!

this has been going on for years man! ive been minitruckin since the 90s. it used to be even worse around here. well, its not so bad now i guess cause the minitruckin populatin is 1/10 of what it used to be.

anyway, i got pulled over one night years ago and got several tickets-

no wipers (shaved cowl!)

unsafe- seats too low (seats not on tracks, just laying on the floor)

light law- taillights too low

light law- headlights too low

plate law- license plate too low

unsafe- truck too low (lowered suspension)

no bumper law- had a roll pan

and reckless- had to swurve to avoid a huge pot hole

almost everyone dismissed in court!

thaTS the thing that gets me, i got two lowriders , and have had them with and with out adjustable suspension since the early 90s and have never gotten so much "attention" until recently

Stop cryin Ronnie.....ROFLMAO...J/K. Man I feel your pain dude. When I lived there I got pulled all the time. Me christy and the kids were rollin through S'ville and got pulled by a state trooper because he said he thought he saw something and needed a closer look to make sure everything was ok. I got pulled one night by 5 city cops and a state trooper cuz I was new in town and they said the car looked suspicious and they wanted to check my 5hit. It's just a legal form of discrimination that they make money off of. Maybe I should be a cop and profile to make money....what a concept.

Yeah MB is fookin retarded with the cops. I'm not even bringin the c-10 down for WCT. I dont feel like gettin a million tickets in 3 days so we're bringin the ladies ride and just chillin out. They focus on profilin us when theres thieves, rapist and degerates out there that need some attention and instead they harass the 5hit out of us and give us tickets for bull5hit.

Just remember, cops deal with society's shit all day long. They aren't supposed to take it out on others, or talk smack when they themselves don't know the rules...but hey, I think we've all had a bad day and taken it out on others when we haven't meant to.

Just make sure your polite, and if the officer is wrong, challenge the ticket if you get one. I have actually gotten written apologies from officers for the exact same scenarios. It's happened to me more than I can count. But as long as you remain polite, it all balances out.

I got nailed doing 50 over the limit a few weeks back, the officer had the right to impound my vehicle on the spot, but I was extremely polite, plead my case, and he knocked it down to 20 over, no points on my license.

It's called karma.
