Okay I have an 69' C 10 and would like to put bags or hydros but don't know which I 've had a bagged toyota p/up and loved it but would like some pros and cons especially when it comes to a fullsize truck.

Yeah I heard that its rough ride with hydros. I'm leanin more towards bags but want the quickness of Dro's and the lift would be nice especially since I plan on a body drop

well if you build it right it will be solid and the only work you will have to do is changing seals in the cylinder and charging. you can run accumulators and it will ride like a caddy but might take some trial and error with pressures in the accumulator. and if you do accumulators you should hone out the inside of the cylinders where the seals ride and that will make the seals last way longer. if you build it right and dont go cheap with fittings, check valves, and hoses you will have a very solid settup.

the accord wagon in my profile was the first thing i have juiced and after i learned you need good quality fittings i was good to go. i had a prohopper kit and teh fitting they provide are crap. i went to the parker store and replaced all the fittings and checkvalves with parker and i was good to go, didnt have to work on anything for close to a year. i have a fullsize now on bags and i miss the hydraulics bad, but i told myself i would give air a chance and run it longer and make my choice if i want to swap it out for hydraulics. i hope this helped. also go to www.layitlow.com you will learn a ton over there. good luck on whatever road you choose

Dont be afraid of using dros. If its wired and plumbed correctly with quality parts you will have no problems. A street charger can help you avoid charging the batteries all the time. Accumulators with shocks will give just as good a ride if not better than air ride. Most people that have problems use junk parts, shitty set ups, crappy wiring jobs, poor quality switch boxes, Presolite boxes instead solenoids (big no no), or just plain dont know what they are doing. Hydraulics are used in thousands of industrial applications reliably. Give hydros a chance. If done right they are awesome. I had hydros for years with very little problems. The most common thing you will have to do is charge batteries and replace o-rings.

On a mini, hydraulics can be nice because of space limitations on the front suspension.
But your C10 is so easy to bag, I'd recommend going with airbags instead. There's tons of room for a large bag, so you'll get a smooth ride. And because you're putting the bag where the coil spring was already set, there's no major fabrication to be done.

Of course, my opinion is coming from a guy that sells bags for a living!

I agree with the above, either way, if they are installed correctly and well thought out both systems will work awesome. also you get what you pay for, don't short change yourself with cheap parts.
