looks great but the flash rusting looks to be a pain with the water jet.

yea, people like mindliss and guilty by design and also suicidedoors are using lasers.. its kinda funny b/c the laser cut peices i've gotten from all 3, have no ragged edges at all.. i can get pictures to prove it

who are you trying to prove it too?

i dont think anyone had questioned the quality of a cut that a lazer produces....

Can I ask why the comparison between water jet and hi def plasma? Are any of the big players in the industry still cutting with a plasma table? We get out bracketry and mustang 2 crossmembers cut at work at a shop that uses laser and while not as nice as your waterjet examples, the laser does a much nicer job than the supplied plasma pictures.

the comparison is because thats what i had lying around at the shop.., and to show the difference.

we get all our stuff at work cut out with water jet.. they produce such clean cuts, who would have thought to cut metal with high pressure water

no doubt, its cool as shit to see happen.

would you be able to make wheel spacers? or adapters? id think its pretty easy. just a thought before i track down wheels for my rigs. like 5x4.5" to 5x4" (suburus on a yota) or 5x4.5" to 6x5.5" (the 07 GMs have a sweet black 17" spare)

we could make the spacers, same bolt pattern to same bolt pattern, but adapters with studs pressed into them, we may not be interested in doing...

if you just need a spacer holler!

if you are worried about it, id press my own studs in. no accountability on you. i might need some spacers for some FWD rims though.

another idea that you might try since nobody seems to carry them in normal stock, is flat gussets. for 90 joints, maybe 45, 135, ect. and flat ones for butt welds. like a star, a diamond, a circle, ect. i know id want a bunch of star ones. hell, id put them all over.

oh...i might want you to make me some valve and tank brackets with stars cut in them. ill keep you in mind when it comes time to mount stuff. keep up the awesome work.

5.50 per tab is MUCH lower then the comp? 5.50 x 16 = 88 bucks.

i can get complete tab sets from either mindliss metal fab or kyle at guilty by design for 65-70 bucks.

congrats on the water jet purchase.

Just to clarify, my axle tab sets are only $35 haha.

How precise can you guys get with a water jet? Is this what you are using to make your BLF washers? I'm wanting to get some stainless 1.625" or 1.750" OD washers cut with some design in them.
