How long does it take to cut out a bracket on a waterjet compared to a lazer. I have no experience with WJ's all we have is a Mazak Lazer. I'll let you know if I need anything, might, soon.

Hit up iLLblazer from Mindliss... he's already got it drawn up and ready to go.

Just a quick note on this... Illustrator will convert the file to .dwg or .dxf which allows you to basically import the image into autoCAD. However, it is nowhere near useable at the point when it comes to cutting the part.

Can I ask why the comparison between water jet and hi def plasma? Are any of the big players in the industry still cutting with a plasma table? We get out bracketry and mustang 2 crossmembers cut at work at a shop that uses laser and while not as nice as your waterjet examples, the laser does a much nicer job than the supplied plasma pictures.

we get all our stuff at work cut out with water jet.. they produce such clean cuts, who would have thought to cut metal with high pressure water
