can you put a 22in tire on a 22.5 rim

need to know if its possible tp stretch a 22 on a 22.5 or it has to be milled and if it does have to be milled how much

I think their is a thread on this subject from a few years ago and trevor goes in great detail on how to mill down wheels

Y is this so funny

You have to mill the wheels for the 22" tires to properly seat on the wheels. If you stretch the tires you are taking a great risk on the steel belts breaking and blowing our, thus risking yours and many others lives.

If you want to send/bring the wheels over to us we can get them milled and back out to you the same day.

It is funny because years ago on this site there were all kinds of people asking these questions and I sounded like a broken record repeating myself over and over and over again. This is the first time the questions has surfaced in a long time and some of the older members will think it is funny.
