i heard that you have to rebuild the enginr crossmeber to lay frame on 98 and up rangers, is this true or is there another way?

he's right and you need a tranny crossmember to

You dont need a new engine crossmember, just a tranny member to fully lay out. You will want to z the front @ 2 inches to get the truck to lay right, otherwise the front will sit higher than the back.

i liked them bolt it cups they are awesome and i had grant make a tranny member for me and it was awesome made a big ass diffrence

but i did screw up and buy some arms from barnyard customs...and it only took like 4 months to get them and after about 40k miles i decided to make sure everything was all good bushing wise and i were able to twist them with my hand on the uppers
