seems like it would be less work to just Z the frame instead of a yota clip, yes you would still have camber issues but thats a bonus ha ha

If your not bodydroping it on 20's you might be able to keep the fenders in place on the back as for the ac you'll have to modify the air box for the unit and on rangers you usually dont have to notch the firewall to lay out just move the plugs on the drv side for the fuse box. and will probably have to move or get rid of your parking break as the cable will be in the way

i dont need the parking brake. ive got a bodydroped mazda in my shop but it has I-beams and i would follow it but mine has control arms. im just trying to see what all i can do before i tear into it. id like to go 20's but if i have to i will run 18's cuz it my daily driver

My Ranger burnt through the bed on 20's...just laying frame.
For a tranny cross...we used a peace of 1/2" steel...and modified the original cross....lol
you will also have an issue with the cross members under the rear of the cab, if you have an extended cab...oh yes there will be cutting into the cab floor!

as for A/C.....lol(seen a bodydropped ranger from "The Shop" with A/C)
-if you run a JBM 5/6 drop, maybe.
good control arms...suicide doors made their cups based on them.
and as for the back...KP did make a kit but stopped....your better off just getting a 250.00 kit from suicide doors, and welding it in.

My mazda would burn the bedsides with 20 just layin frame also, also had to loose the ac. I relocated All of the wiring under the dash on the pass side after the sfbd. The rear is going to be 2 to 2 1/2 shorter. I have a suicide door super lift 4 link on the back and it works awsome, just wish the bags were over the center of the bars.

im just building the ranger for a daily, so i will just prolly run 18's so it will clear my bed and a/c. i have a blazer that im going all out on. what would yall recomend for control arms? djm or who?

DJM are the way to go for right now at least. I have had a set since 2001 and havent had one issue out of them (knock on wood)

my ranger layed out on 225/30/20 tires without hitting the firewall plugs up front, or the bedsides in the back. but those are rubber bands, not good for daily. anyways to fix the camber issues up front, you can raise your upper control arm mounts up, but you might have a problem untucking your wheels. ranger's are mostly trial and error.

yeah i have kinda been looking into raising uppers. we put an upper control arm raise kit from ekstensive on an f-150 that we bagged on 22's and it has hardly no camber at all. but i dont know of anyone who makes a kit like that for a ranger. so i might just have to make my own
