THIS NEEDS TO BE PUT ON SSM HOME PAGE UNDER "NEWS"..... we have lost a true legend and this deserves more than a thread - since, its news!

I've heard twice this morning that Boyd Coddington Sr. passedaway,but i do not want to call Chris ( his son ) because i'm sure he's getting 1 million calls right now. I remember the first time Chris introduced me to him, with out knowing anything about me working for the magazines or anything about me, he just put his arm around me and the first words he spoke to me were " how did you get those bolts in your ears" LOL.. love that guy, down to earth and cool as hell.

Boyd was an icon for custom automotive scene !

Thank you Boyd, I appriciate all you have done !!
