Boyd was an innovator and a legend in the hot rod and custom industry. I was fortunate enough to meet him on a few occasions with visits to the factory and while at SEMA a few times. I feel for his sons, Boyd Jr, Chris and Greg, and the entire family.

He will be missed. R.I.P.

Wow, Im just speechless. You know, Boyd was one of the main guys who got the whole "sport truck" thing really rolling in the mid eighties, never mind the whole ultra-smooth, billet everything, look that street rodders embraced for about 20 years. He truly is one of the Hot Rodding Gods, and the whole sport would be very different if he never lived. God bless him and hopefully he can make peace with God.Hopefully Roth and Parks can help him in heaven

HUGE loss to our community. Cadzilla was and still is one of the coolest Customs ever! R.I.P. Boyd, thoughts and prayers to your family, friends and shop!

sad to see. he will truly be missed. so many people know him and in many more ways than what alot of have known or heard. sounds to me like a great guy, not what was shown on tv or what i have heard from people. would have loved to have gotten to meet him myself. God Bless to his friends and family.

someone needs to make some shirts, i know alot of us on here will buy them.
