If the upper and lower, inner a-arm mounts are parallel to each other AND run parallel to the center of the truck, you can get away with simply shorting the arms with only camber issues as the big compromise. BUT if they do not run parallel to each other or the truck (early chevy truck) you will need to redesign the arms a bit in order to keep the geometry decent.
sorry nnbs = 07-08 chevy... so taking 1/2-3/4" out of top AND bottome control arms will hurt the camber? i figured shortening them equally wouldnt hurt anything other than maybe the turn radius... and possible having to shorten the tie rods?
