tips.....for torsions

alright, i plan to be bagged soon but i want to crank the torsions for shits if nothing else.

I know the concept, and I know HOW, but the two top nuts just wont move. I have tried a crescent on top and socket on bottom but they wont budge. is there a trick to this or just drench it in pb blaster and hope for the best? also.....they are regular threaded bolts, right?

WELL THEY SHOULD BE JAM NUTS ON THE TOP. IF U CAN GET THE TOP ONE LOOSE JUST LOSSEN THE BOTTOM ONE. I USED AN IMPACT GUN ON MINE

i guess its a jam nut, i dont know. to me (it was dark) it looked like two nutes on top of each other. i will try the impact tomorrow with a crescent on the top nut.

There are 2 nuts on top of each other so they
wont come loose. I always used a closed in wrench to remove the top nut, wedged it up in there & then using a impact crank it down.

its a jam nut. i thought we already went over this texting over the phone. hahahaha. loosen it and it will lower the fuker but- if you simply loosen it then the hanger will hang down very low and rub on everything. take it completely loose, remove the torsion bar then respline it. turn it a 1/4 or so to get the bracket facing upward then install it. if you simply get it loose the bitches will bend and fall out while driving...

as far as the rear leafs (i know you gonna have questions there too) take out the overload spring (the one thats not connected to the hangers) throw it away and then flip the bottom leaf over. that will de-arch them a bit so you wont need as many blocks! i might not be up on bags links and tuckin 28.4" rims but im all over this shit man!
