been a very updateless month or so. Ive been collecting parts and materials to get crackin on the ram, and i think im finally ready to start the destruction for the winter. I got the truck up high on stands and leveled it out, then bracked the front frame section to prepare for the Z cut. Gutted the stock tranny x-member also, so i can make a new one. gotta make new dropped motor mounts, and tranny x-member bracket as well as relocate my air tank and install a new hitch. Im hoping to beable to run different valves this summer also, so i would like to address that too.
I also got alittle bit of the edc installed. The pulley and fittings are from
http://www.onboardair.com , the fittings i thought i found didnt end up working right, so i had to buy some....
Im hoping to get a good solid weekend of work in on the truck next week, and possibly have the Z cut made, and ready to be plated again, i have to work saturday but ill probably pull an allnighter on saturday night, into sunday and try to get it all wrapped up.
Here are a few random pics from the last few weeks. I got the quad out this weekend also to put the ice tires on it, so thats kinda hoggin some pic space also...

Well, got out to the garage at about 11am today, and i was lucky enough to get some help from jayme for the day, so i gotta thank him for workin his ass off today in my garage. Thanks alot man!!!
First things first, jayme lopped off my BLF frame gussets and tossed them in the dumpster, so that we can throw in some new MMW ones that im getting cut next week.
Got the truck up high on jack stands, and braced it to the floor with some temporary metal legs. got the entire area that the "Z" cuts will be placed completely clean down to bare metal. Bassicly what i needed to do was cut the engine cradle out, and raise it 2". So, after everything was cleaned up and down to bare metal, we marked some lines to be cut straight down the frame rail, then marked two refrence points that were 2" apart so we could line it back up.
Thankfully jayme was thare to man the sawzall, because i usually go absolutely nuts with it and cut everything in sight. He is a delicate surgeon with that mother fucker, and the cuts were flawless. After the the engine cradle was free from the frame rails, we jacked it up 2" untill the lines got into place, and then bassicly welded it back into place. Now, i have to bassicly plate the entire area with .250 plate to make it strong again.
Jayme also made quick work of my old shitty battery box, and cut that piece of shit off the frame as well. Ive got a new design that will help out the dodge owners as well, something nice to add the the list of dodge parts i make.
Only ran into two clearance issues, the fan pretty much crushed the housing, and the air cleaner is a super tight fit now. But, after i make some dropped motor mounts, it will solve all of that stuff.
All in all, it was a damn damn good day, with the help of a good friend we got alot of shit done, and one step closer to getting the truck a bit lower.
Heres soem pics of the festivities.
