Hey Kelly & Derek, did y'all dent where the inner fender rolls down or anything? I've heard (or read) people say that before but I'm having problems with my Caprice already and it's nowhere near as low as I want the Impala. Granted it's not bagged so I have to ride at that height all the time, but still. I trimmed the fenders out a lil bit this weekend just to give it some clearance...

Here's a test fit of the rims I was talking about... I only had it on one side so it's leaning a lil bit... get the idea though. Sorry bout the crappy cell pics, all I had on me. Can see the Impala in the background though.

Damn Grip... that looks good. That's exactly what I wanna do. Is that in your wagon?? I saw you post on ISSF a while back but I'd never seen under the hood. That's what I'm shooting for though... thanks man! Even got a shot of the hood notch in there... Man I got alotta work ahead of me lol...

Do you still have that wagon?

looks like you have a good project on your hands i am running on 20's in front with a 245/30/20 and have no problems with it hitting i think you should pass on the trailer fenders and show the suspenion.

Thanks Rob... hopefully it won't be a project forever. Skip the fenders huh? Hmmm... I like how it looks without them but really worry about being able to drive the car and not keep my engine dirty all the time. It's not gonna be a full show car.

I thought about trying to get something done where I could pull 'em out if I needed to so I could get to stuff easier. Couple bolts or some of those latches they use on fiberglass hoods where you turn it with a quarter or something and it's spring loaded... maybe? Figured once I get 'em out and everything else taken care of I can bounce some ideas around...

Wagon looks good man... looks like you have the same coolant tanks I was looking at too. Any issues with em? Did you just scrap the fluid level sensor and program it outta the PCM or something? Any shots of that bracket you mounted them too? That's not a piece you can buy is it?

Sorry bout the 20 questions btw.

i was 1st to bodydrop that car on 22's a few years ago and had mad professor in our club do the front wheelwells for me.. talk to him ..he'll set you up for the wheelwells

that's super clean man... I don't wanna have to do the pie-cut thing with the outer fenders to lay all the way out but I definitely wanna cut up under the hood. How do I get ahold of that Mad Professor guy to pick his brain, is he on here?

My fenders are bubbled if that came out right. I am body dropped 3 inches on 20's. my hood is bubbled to fit the 20's laid out. I lost a lot of turning ablity unless its aired up all the way (U turn status) where My BUDDY LIL ROB was smart and cut his and didntlose the ablity to turn closer to the ground.

Good luck on the car man....LOOKS AWESOME!

it would be cool if you can have them in there and unbolt them at shows. i took the sensor out from the pcm when they re programed it for me and i have had good luck with the coolant tanks i will have some pics soon and will post them. thanks

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back up here... this car's slowly killing me.

Christina- love your wagon... you threw a blown stroker under there?!? Maaan I'm slipping... this 355's about to break me, financially and emotionally lol. I knew I shoulda scrapped that damn computer. Any shots under your hood? I bet that thing looks pretty under there... thanks for the kind words btw, you look pretty awesome yourself.

LilRob- yeah man... I thought it'd be pretty tight to be able to pop 'em out when I wanted to but cover 'em up when needed. We'll see though. Finally got the motor back in there and as big of a b!tch as that was I dunno how much of that stuff I wanna pull back out and relocate, right now anyway. I got another temp gauge though just so when I do put the new coolant tanks in I can keep an eye on it... good to know I can program out that sensor. Definitely post up pics whenever you can take some, more the better...

I'll throw up some more shots too once I get the bugs worked out and can clean it back up but it's nothin' close to what y'all are doin'. Can't wait to get past this stage on to some fun stuff... after all these problems I'm gonna be scared to even run it hard.
