So I started My tuck today,...I let it warm up and after a few miniutes it just died!!!??.....
I tried to start it and the battery was dead.
So I charged it up and started my truck and same thing......it died again so I pulled out the alltinator and tested it ( it failed)
I bought a new one put it in ,...started it and a few miniutes later it died?????
So I had my battery tested ( it's good) Then I had the alltinator tested ....it was good??!!......so what the fuck?????
I check all of my fuses and checked the grounds,....I don't know what else to do......anyone???

....This is why I stick to painting

Does your alternator have an internal or external voltage regulator? If external, that could be the problem...

Did you check the circit breakers/fuses in the fuse box in the engine bay? On my 89 toyota I had the same problem and it was a bad circit breaker/fuse .
