I ran copper on mine, and it was dailied for 2 and a half years 365 days a year, salt snow rain, no problems at all. Copper is super easy to work with, just take your time and don't oblong the line, or it will never seal right. Stainless is much nicer to look at, but it costs a lot more, and is harder to work. Although stainless is good to like 3000 psi where-as copper in the same size (1/2 id) is only good to 640 or so. Either way I always liked to wax my copper when I installed it too...keeps the corrosion down to a bare minimum.
