Guys, this isn't our first day on the job. We wouldn't bother bringing a product to market if we thought it would be unsafe for its intended application. There are too many headaches associated with customer dis-satisfaction when offering second rate items, not to mention all of the wasted R&D hours. It just wouldn't make business sense.

Now to answer some of those questions. Only 6061 would be considered. The bars most likely wouldn't be round, but probably would be machined starting from rectangle or square bar stock with all unnecessary material removed for weight purposes and retaining enough for robust strength. Of course features would be added to the designs like machined pockets, chamfered corners, etc., giving the pieces that "cnc'ed look". I hope this brief explanation has given a little bit insight and trust about our abilities. If not, the product, if made, would hopefully speak only good things for itself.

i wouldn't trust aluminum bars

I've had aluminum bars on my truck for 7 years withouta problem. I guess I better hurry up and go take them off, lol! Anyways, mine are just aluminum hex that are drilled and tapped 3/4 fine. A little anti-sieze and you won't have a problem with adjustments. Also the hex shape of the bar makes it easy to throw a wrench on it and make adjustments when needed.

this is just a panhard bar but you get the idea. aluminum link bars are used in many forms of motorsports. i've personally run them. they are cheap to build too.
