"Prerunner" Mazda?

cut out edge of the fender and extended it out and weld the edge back on. kinda the reverse way of sectioning something. As far as suspension, the off road shop I used to work at commonly used chevy 1/2ton leaf springs on toyota and could get upwards of 9" of lift out of them. as far as the front just use some prerunner stuff for another vehicle

It would be a bit of work but adding a toyota pickup front clip would be your best bet. Its similarly laid out to a mazda so it could work if you're handy or know someone who is. If you do this then you can use a setup like the ones Total Chaos offers for toyotas. As far as the rear you could have lifting leaves made or switch to a 4 link and coilovers. This would be a good alternative to a totally custom setup as far as cost goes. Climb under a toyota with a tape measure and see whats up. Good luck, it could be a really cool little project.

I have been toying with this idea for while, take a mini, or mid-size, build wider long travel suspension, Use wider fullsize axle in the rear and pre-run the fenders plus the bed by cutting them, filling and welding, then slam a huge engine in the bastrd. Then proceed to lighten by tubing etc.

just do a little newer one and they r just like a ranger right?? but an old body mazda would be sick cuz no one has one

theres a Reg cab mazda in town here with a toyota straight axle on it and a huge lift I think its 1 of the coolest budget 4x4s running around I'm sure a prerunner would be just as cool

if its not on thier website, they more than likely know where to get it. they are a OG prerunner shop and built some wicked rides back in the day. give'm a call and they'll lead you in the right direction

They used to make prerunner fenders seen them on ebay sometimes had 2wd body line too
And I think it could be cool with long travel parts
