ESAB Welder

Does anybody have any experience with ESAB mig welders? I have never heard of this brand before but a friend of mine can get me one for a really good price. How do they compare to Lincoln or HF? I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" so if they aren't any good, I will look elsewhere.

I have an ESAB HandyPlasma 550 plasma cutter and it works amazing.. ive never experienced any of their welders, but if they are anything like the plasmas, i would go for it. ive never had any problems with it and consumables are pretty easy to find too.. not sure if this helps, just my 2 cents.

we had an ESAB mig where I used to work, it was amazing. I would take it over my Lincoln anyday

I can't find that they make a 110v model. Anybody ever seen one?

i never seen a esab 110 but there good welders

i still love my millermatic 175/180

never heard of them im going with the miller 252 real nice welding machine

we used esab in school, definaltly a good welder.

i have one and it kicks ass mines a 220 thou
